Role Purpose
The Programs Manager ensures RCM delivers high-quality, mission-aligned programs that engage families across all demographics while maintaining program sustainability. This role balances direct supervision of instructors/teachers with building a strong volunteer leadership pipeline, ensuring RCM’s programs grow in reach, impact, and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a 12-month program calendar serving all age groups.
- Supervise instructors/teachers and manage staff onboarding, training, and evaluations.
- Recruit, train, and mentor volunteer leads to support programs.
- Manage program budgets, tuition, and financial sustainability.
- Report on program performance, including participation and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other team members to align programming, events, and communications.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in education program management, community programming, or nonprofit leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise staff and volunteers effectively.
- Strong budgeting, project management, and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Commitment to RCM’s mission and values.
