Part-Time (25–30 hours/week) | Reports to: Executive Director
Role Purpose
The Business Manager is RCM’s backbone — ensuring financial integrity, compliance, and operational efficiency. This role serves as a strategic controller, overseeing finance, HR compliance, IT, purchasing, and data systems, while providing leadership with the forecasting and tools needed to scale toward RCM’s long-term vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and oversee accounts payable/receivable.
- Produce monthly forecasts and support annual budgeting.
- Ensure compliance with nonprofit financial standards, payroll, and HR policies.
- Oversee IT systems, vendor contracts, and purchasing.
- Coordinate with Facilities Manager to ensure operational readiness.
- Produce organizational dashboards to support decision-making.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in nonprofit finance, operations, or business management.
- Strong knowledge of nonprofit accounting and compliance standards.
- Skilled in financial analysis and forecasting.
- Familiarity with HR compliance (payroll, benefits, contracts).
- Strong IT/system orientation.
- Commitment to RCM’s mission and values.
